Starting with energy

week 4

Until now, this week was the best and it was really amazing. It was, more or less, like the typical week that we are going to have in these 10 months.

On Monday we went to the Primary School n77 and there we played with the kids (in the playground). After their free time in the swings and on the slides, we did origami. The paper frogs triumphed, everyone wanted to do it! (The week before the star figure was the witches hats). Each week is going to be easier than the week before, because the kids aren´t already shy. Even though, communicating with them is still difficult, but we hope that in a few weeks with Aga´s help (our polish teacher) and our friends' help the communication will go better.

Tuesday was so funny. We could play football with the kids and they were so participating . We spend more or less 40min in the playground with them. After that we went to an English class where voluntary, 10 or 12 children want to improve their knowledge in English with their teacher and with us. At the end of the class we sang the happy Birthday for Brayan´s friend.

On Wednesday we went to another school in the morning to present our countries and ourselves. It was very nice and at the end of the class everybody wanted autographs. In the afternoon we went to Biedrusko (20 km from the center) and every time we're there it's great. We really like this club. We played so much with them, they have a lot of energy. They tried to teach us polish, and we learnt all we could. We also teach sentences in our languages like ´Thanks, ´What´s your name?´, ´My name is...´, ´Please´.. We finished the day exhausted.

On Thursday we went to the Kindergarden. The little kids are so funny and so sweet. After that, we went to the Primary School n77 and we played football with the children. We had a great time!On Friday we went Gimnazijum 54. There Magda was waiting for us (We didn't get our buses, and we were lost in the city, so we were late). It was the first time in this school, and Magda and the girls were charming. We presented ourselves, we taught some words in our languages, we learned words in polish and we drew the teenagers' faces learning the parts of the faces! To finish off the work, we ate some sweets and drank juice.

This week was really awesome, so thanks to teachers for the support, the friendliness, for the food (everything was very delicious) and for the good feeling! And of course, thanks to CIM Horizonty for giving us the opportunity to make this an amazing experience.
