Hey, what’s up?!! I know that you were waiting for the first article and video blog of this year, there are a lot of things to tell you so let’s start.
After all the activities and the intensity of December the Christmas came with the holidays and we use them to chill a bit and to travel around Poland. Alexandra was the only one who went back home so Saray, Samuele and I spent the holidays here in Poland. Saray was with a very special guest, his boyfriend, and they were invited by Vampek to have the dinner of the 24th with his family. In a different way, Samuele and I planned a trip to visit the north part of the country. Everything started pretty well and we manage to hitchhike to Gdańsk in one day thanks to three nice drivers J
We spent some days there but also we visited the Castles of Malbork and Kwidzyn with some friends who are living there. We also went to Lębork to visit Karolina, one of our closest friends here and she showed us the freezing part of Hel. Thank you very much to all the people who help us in that trip, hosting us or picking us up from the roads. For the New Year’s Eve we divided. Samuele went to Riga to visit some friends that we met on December during “Roots of hate” course and I travelled to Berlin to party a bit and to visit that incredible city.
The holydays finished very fast but we enjoy them a lot and also was cool to discover the countryside of Poland. The first week of January was a bit hard to start again with all our fixed activities but was a good time to talk with our mentor, Ula, about the upcoming projects that we are planning to take part in. We are thinking about start some culinary workshop and some activities related with recycling and circular economy, so we will see… We are waiting for you in our following workshops!
