Here I am again summarizing the highlights of this amazing Hawaiian week in Poznan.
After the long break of the 1st week of May and the adventure trip in the Baltic countries with the Italian Salmon jumper, we were back in Poznan ready for the action.
This week we were promoting the EVS and the volunteering in some events at the Social Science Faculty in Adam Mickiewicz University. On Monday we were in a coffee talk with other students that were in Nepal and Uganda doing one month volunteering, sharing our experiences and passions. Besides on Tuesday they organize the “Trade of Internship abroad” so we were trying to help people who were interested in doing a volunteering on abroad.
On Tuesday afternoon we organize a quiz/karaoke evening at Krag. We spent a very nice time with the people, showing them some curiosities about our countries and doing some challenges divided in 3 teams of 8-10 people each. The event finished with some sevilian dances that Saray was explaining step by step and with an international karaoke, singing hits of Julio Iglesias, Eros Ramazzotti…
The next day, I had to continue with the culinary workshops. This time with the help of Anna, a Polish friend who is living and working in Bavaria, we showed the famous parts of the region and Anna was talking about her daily life there. We prepared a typical salad mixing white and green asparagus and making a sauce with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and vanilla sugar.
In the pretty, full of flowers Lazarus garden we were making some bags promoting the catchword “Czysty Lazarz” using a template and different sprays and painting cloth bags in order to don’t use plastic bags for doing the shopping and try to raise awareness about this issue.
